The 13th Annual
Austin Jazz Project
Monday, June 8 – Friday, June 12, 2015
@ St. James Episcopal Church
1941 Webberville Rd., Austin, TX 78721
Since 2002, the Austin Jazz Project has mentored and fostered young people’s musicianship, creativity, collaboration and self-expression through jazz, America’s great art form. It would be our honor and pleasure to work with you or your student this year! Will you join us?
The 5-day camp, goes from 9:00am – 4:00pm daily, with a Final Concert on Friday for the public.
This year’s faculty includes Dr. Shane Pitsch, Ponder East, Aaron Lack, and Glenn Rexach.
This year’s camp is hosted by St. James Episcopal Church in East Austin. The church is known throughout the area for their fall annual event ‘Jazz at St. James’, where they bring in nationally recognized guest artists to perform and speak about jazz. We’re delighted to be working with St. James to help further their mission and outreach of jazz.
We’re also partnering again with The Austin Jazz Society (Celebrate-Appreciate-Educate)to provide scholarships to a limited number of applicants.
For details on registration, information, scholarships and any questions, please contact co-founder Ponder East at (512) 663-9215(512) 663-9215 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
