THE JULIANA SILVEIRA QUINTET features:

Juliana Silveira - Piano
Paulo Santos- Tenor Saxophone
Jan Flemming- Accordion
James Suter- Bass
Daniel Dufour- Drums

Juliana Silveira is a Brazilian pianist and composer graduated from Santa Marcelina University (São Paulo-Brazil). While living in São Paulo she was an active performer in a wide range of music styles. From playing in big bands, accompanying vocalists to solo piano concerts, she performed in various important stages in the city. In 2017 she moved to Austin, Texas, where she continues her work as a piano educator while still performing jazz and Brazilian music around town. She has had the opportunity to play with great Austin musicians, such as Grammy Award winner Jose Galeano and singer Susanna Sharpe. In 2023, Silveira concluded her master’s degree in jazz Piano Performance at the University of Texas at Austin.
