Elephant Room presents International Jazz Day featuring the Austin Women in Jazz Band, 9:00 PM

We are collaborating with the Elephant Room to provide this special event.

AUSTIN WOMEN IN JAZZ

Austin’s premier women jazz musicians will perform at the renowned Elephant Room to celebrate International Jazz Day on April 30th.

Melissa Raquel, Kari Shaff and Shawnda Birch will share the stage on vocals backed up by pianist Peggy Stern, bassist Chris Jones, drummer Karrie Sheehan and percussionist Laura Mordecai.

The event is sponsored in part by Women in Jazz Association, the City of Austin’s Economic Development Dept., McDonald’s, Austin Revitalization Authority and Hartbeat Productions, LLC.

Please note:
Admission is at the door via a $7.00 cover charge on the day of the show. There are no advance tickets or registrations.
